Transaction Limitations for Savings Accounts and Money Market Accounts
Federal Regulation D limits savings and money market accounts to make no more than six transfers and withdrawals, or a combination of such transfers and withdrawals, per statement cycle to another account (including a transaction account) at the same institution or to a third party by means of a preauthorized or automatic transfer, or telephonic (including data transmission) agreement, order or instruction, or by check, draft, debit card, ACH, or similar order made by you and payable to third parties. Violations of these limitations for savings and money market accounts will result in a $2.00 charge per transaction over the limit.
Loan payments made to your loan at Bay Bank are not a part of the six. Withdrawals or transfers to another account of the same depositor are not counted if done in person, or by ATM, mail, or telephone (check mailed to the depositor). Deposits of any amount are allowed at any time.
